Louis was one of the youngest competitors at the Shropshire and Herefordshire County Mens Amateur Championships at Shrewsbury Golf Club on 8th June 2024.
He competed against a field of 52 of elite golfers in Shropshire for the title of Shropshire Mens Amateur Champion. Conditions at Shrewsbury Golf Club were tough. Greens were hard and the stimp rating was 12. The competition was a 36 hole scratch event and with tight fairways and greens it was hardly surprising that no golfer went under par all day.
Louis ended up tied 7th competing against many of Shropshire Mens County players. He was delighted with his performance and was happy the putts were dropping.
