Toro Tour – San Roque New Course

The Toro Tour is a Professional Tour open to Pros and Amateurs alike. Entrants have the chance of winning prize money.

This leg of the Toro Tour was held on the tricky San Roque New Course. Conditions on the first day didn’t help the field with winds of up to 40mph and wet conditions meant the whole field struggled to score.

Louis entered this event for the first time and played with adults for all his 3 rounds. His playing partners included some serious golfers who have achieved top 10 finishes in events such as the North of England Mens Amateur and The Fairhaven Trophy.

After a disappointing first day Louis’ second and third day was much better with an excellent final round of 3 over. This was his first experience of playing on a course that was over 7100 yards and was overall pleased with his performance over the week.

Louis’ next stop is the Malta Junior Championships at the end of March being played at the Royal Malta Golf Club. Louis will return for Malta to start his season in the UK
